Hannah Lehmann is an award-winning screenwriter and director from Sydney, Australia.
For her digital series ‘Two Sides’, Hannah won an Australian Directors Guild award and a Streamy Award, and was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for her work on the series. She created and directed ‘The Unboxing’ for Seven Studios, and began her career with ‘The Out There’, a series she produced and wrote for Instagram.
Currently, Hannah is writing her debut feature ‘Candy Flip’, and is the creator and writer of her semi-autobiographical TV series ‘Mirrorball’ with the support of Screen Australia, and produced by Easy Tiger Television. The series is in development with a major streamer.
On the feature side, Hannah is currently adapting a best-selling book for iGeneration Studios, and has adapted another best selling book for Leone Films.
On the commercial side, Hannah’s clients include Amex, Vogue, ViVo and Mardi Gras. She was a finalist for Best New Director at the 2022 Shot Awards.
Hannah was honored as a Screen Australia Talent LA delegate in 2019 and a Cannes Catalyst Delegate in 2024. She currently lives in Sydney, Australia. Hannah is represented for film and tv in the USA by Navigation, in Australia by RGM and commercially by Mint Films in Australia.
